NAMM 2013 RUMOR PAGE!
The big Rumors I have been hearing so far are coming from some of the larger companies.
1) Korg possibly set to show a new MS-20 based synth with the size factor of the legacy controller and the new chip innards developed for the monotron series.
2) also from Korg rumors of a Polytron or full on poly analog synth to be aggressively priced.
3) Roland has been quite the past few years and many users are speculating that a new sucessor to the MV8800 may be on the way to compete with the likes of Native Instruments Maschine and the Akai MPC hybrid. Nothing solid to go off of here but I am really hoping to see something forward thinking.
4) Spectrasonics Possibly an all new synth from spectrasonics or an omnisphere 3.0 with sampling?? it’s been a while since their last release…
5) Line 6 Possibly coming out with all new lighting connected interfaces for the new ipad and iphone 5? makes sense considering how well the previous products sold
6) Yamaha may be set to release a follow up to it’s RS series samplers… this could really come from left field and suprise a lot of people … or will it be a new MOTIF synth…
